In My Bag

Olay Daily Facials

I am the original bag lady.  I love bags.  A bag for this, a tote for that, I just can’t get enough.  There is always something that I feel a need to carry a long.  But lately, I’ve been trying to minimize the contents.  One problem area has been my gym bag.  It is so full of stuff.  After a midday workout I pretty much have to redo everything I did in the morning.  Which means hair products, skin care (face and body) make up–you get the picture.  One space saver, that I love is Olay Daily Facials.  I can skip the bottle of cleanser and an array of facial products.  Just one facial cleanser in my bag and I can exfoliate and rejuvenate without a lot fanfare.  These aren’t like facial wipes.  They really give you a rich lather.  I love it.  They are great for long road trips and any time you need to freshen up away from home.

MAC Nail 1
Vintage Vamp

MAC has released their fall trend report and word has it that the look is all about precision.  Whenever, whatever is out and definition is in.  According to the report, we should think eighties.  No surprise there, since leggings are back and exaggerated shoulders are gracing the cat walks.  But it’s my inner nail technician (I prefer “nail stylist”) that has me excited about the high gloss formula nail lacquers.

Rich, Dark, Delicious

Your hands are your calling card.  People do take notice.  Plus, it just gives you the added confidence and ease when you are engaged in conversation. You have the freedom to gesture, when you don’t have to hide your nails.  So don’t underestimate a good manicure.  Cool Reserve and Vintage
Vamp will definitely win a space on my shelf.  The jury is still out on Rich, Dark, Delicious.  I prefer nude tones or bright colors.  Nude shades are a bit more forgiving and bright works better with my skin tone, I think.  I’ll keep you posted.

Oh, but speaking of delicious, check out my new page, The Mixing Bowl (working title for now), it’s all about my adventures in the kitchen, past and present.  Just click on the link on the right side of the page.
