The knowles sisters were in Japan recently promoting the Samantha Thavasa Disney handbag collection. Beyonce and Solange always manage to look glamorous and I’m always up for ogling handbags, but it was Solange’s new “do” that caught my attention. She’s cut it all off and it looks absolutely fabulous. This isn’t a look that everyone can pull off, but for those who can-it’s a good look. While I’ve seen this look on the neighborhood runways, I haven’t seen it in the celebrity lane since…Jada did it back in the day. But today in 2009, Solange is wearing it well. Her makeup polishes off the look. The lashes…perfect. In the age of weaves and lace fronts, Solange is doing her own thing.
