Pond’s Cleansing Towelettes

Ponds Makeup Remover Wipes
I just love discovering new products.  When it works, it’s practical, and makes my life easier I can’t help but tell the world about it.  So today, I’m talking about Pond’s Wet Cleansing Towelettes.  Why cleansing towelettes, you ask? It’s simple, they are great for makeup removal.  One important step in keeping skin healthy and glowing is removing makeup.  Not only do the towelettes remove foundation and shadows, but also mascara.  And removing two coats of mascara is no easy task.  I was able to remove my makeup with just one wipe. My skin felt fresh and clean afterward, no drying or irritation.

What I really appreciate about having these wipes is that I can use them on the go.  I recently attended a makeup demonstration where several shades of eyeshadow were “demonstrated” on my lids.  Well let me just say that what works well in studio lighting doesn’t always translate will outside or on the subway.  At the time I only had wipes that needed to be submerged in water (not practical) or wet wipes (major skin irritation).  This would have been a time for Pond’s Wet Cleansing Towelettes.  But not to worry, I’ll be keeping a pack in my arsenal from now on.  It also doesn’t hurt to have makeup removal wipes on hand for those times when you prefer your pillow over your nightly skin care routine.

The other thing I like about these is that they fit the most humble of budgets.  For just under $6 you get 30 towelettes.  Now because I like a bargain, I gave the store brand a try, it was just under $4.  The store brand cloth towelettes did remove my makeup. However, I felt like I would have needed to use more cloths for the same amount of cleansing.  Also, the cloth was drier and the texture was slightly rougher. Pond’s Wet Cleansing Towelettes has earned a spot on the shelf.  If you’ve tried them, let me know what you think.
