When it comes to beauty we could go on and on about technique and trends, but at the end of the day makeup is supposed to be fun. That is what I love about Nicki Minaj. She manages to change her look effortlessly without ever taking herself too seriously.
Her hair, like her makeup, has been every shade of sherbet! There’s something about the wackiness of it all that reminds me of Cyndi Lauper. She wasn’t a hardcore rapper (no beef, ever) but in her day, she did manage to push the beauty envelope and had fun doing it-cue the music!

Meanwhile, I’m heading to the theater to see Jumping The Broom-again. I caught a sneak peak a few months back and I’ve been wanting to see it again ever since. It’s that good! And it really is funny!
