Bark, Play, Love: Remembering Ethan

Snow Bound!
Snow Hound!

This is one of the most difficult post for me to write.  My buddy, my friend, my puppy is gone.  Ethan passed away last Friday.  The last few weeks have been incredibly difficult.  The years seemed to catch up with my once vibrant, healthy, playful friend all at once.  I have been incredibly sad.  What makes me smile is remembering the twelve years of good memories.  Taking him on long walks, car rides, watching him give the UPS man the business, his canine curiosity, and his seemingly insatiable desire to stop and smell the flowers. Hydrangeas, daffodils, roses-it didn’t matter.  If there were flowers, we had to stop so that he could sniff each one.  He protected our home, was always good company, and a loyal friend  that I will never forget.  So today I remember the love, laughs and life of Ethan (2000-2012).
