Skincare On The Go!

Eucerin Skin Calming Daily Moisturizing Creme
Eucerin Skin Calming Daily Moisturizing Creme

I’m on my way to Vegas, baby!  When you hear Vegas, skincare isn’t the first thing that comes to mind.  But for me, it’s top of the list.  I’m packing my Eucerin skin savers for the trip!  Traveling from a crisp, cool climate of the Northeast to Vegas, where it’s sunny and hot is sure to make my skin go crazy.  So here’s what I’m adding to my bag to make sure that I have a smooth trip (pun intended).

Intensive Repair Creme.  While it’s formulated for hands, I like to use it all over.  Since I’ll be giving my summer sandals an encore performance, I’m taking the Intensive Repair Extra-Enriched Foot Creme also.  Wearing shoes with an exposed heel or toe, can dry out your skin very quickly, so I’m taking every precaution.

Skin Calming Daily Moisturizer.  If you have eczema like me, or any other condition which causes dry, itchy skin, this is the relief you need.  I use it on those areas that get irritated throughout the day.  A unique blend of moisturizers and oatmeal soothes the skin and seals in moisture.  It’s best to use this right after bathing to hydrate the skin.

Original Healing.  I love using this one at night especially.  It is thick and takes a elbow work, but they results are worth it.  I wake up to my skin feeling smooth and supple.  Ready, but not desperately in need, for moisturizing.

Skincare Tips:

  • While a hot shower or bath may feel good for the moment, it can wreak havoc on your skin.  Especially if you have extremely dry skin.  Try turning down the water temperature just a bit.  A nice warm shower is much kinder to your skin.
  • As the we head into fall, remember that a toasty home can also dry out your skin.  Make sure that you keep moisture in the air, when you turn on your heat.  Also, make sure to moisturize every night before bed.

If you”ll be in Las Vegas this weekend for Blogalicious.  Please join me on Sunday morning for the Eucerin Skin First Conversation with Dr. Rosemarie Ingleton at 10 a.m.

This is a sponsored post.  However, I do want you to know that I am indeed on a journey to improve the health of my skin and Eucerin is part of that plan.  As I’ve stated many times in my posts, your skin doesn’t stop at your neck.  So I am looking to enhance my overall skincare.  Eucerin has been recommended to me many times by my personal dermatologist and I do use their products.
