Recently I had the misfortune of witnessing a belt in distress. Two of them to be exact. Talk about a cry for help. I’ve noticed quite a few women (yeah, grown women) wearing pants that are two sizes too small and the belt has just given out. I thought it was just a by product of low-rise jeans on the wrong hips, because I’d spotted this look before. And it seems that low-slide (’cause they really don’t rise) jeans are all some stores have to offer. These women aren’t wearing a long shirt to cover their goods, they’re not tip-toeing around discreetly, as if they had nothing else to wear. These women are walking proud and in some instances strutting. Is it just me, or are ill-fitting clothes the trend now? I’m just asking.
