There’s no doubt about it, Purple is the “it” color for fall and your makeup bag. There are a plethora of varying shades of the royal color turning up on cosmetic counters and in palettes. So I decided to share a couple of my favorites. Sketch by MAC and Dior has a 5 color palette, Stylish Move 970, that has an eggplantesque shade that I’ve fallen in love with. Both shades pair quite nicely with shades of bronze and copper. Try Laura Mercier’s Metallic Creme Color eye shadow, Burnished Copper or MAC’s Antiqued and Honesty (not shown). Apply copper or bronze shade to your lower lids contrasting with a shade of purple at the crease of your eye. Try Honesty or a lighter shade as a highlight beneath your brow line. Oh, and always, don’t forget to blend. Let me know how you like it.
Here’s a quick tip for making your eyes beautiful:
Use eye color dry as a liner for a subtle , natural look. For more tips, visit Make-Up Designory.
