Ever since Carol’s Daughter announced their new Monoi Repairing Shampoo and Conditioner, the beauty world has been abuzz with anticipation. Fortunately, I’ve had the chance to try it for myself. I was a bit skeptical at first, because while I love Carol’s Daughter products for skincare and hair styling, when it comes to shampoo and conditioner I have a strong favorite. But I decided to give it a whirl.
I was very impressed. It lathered well, (not all shampoos do) and I immediately noticed that my hair felt softer as I continued to shampoo. According to CD, the Monoi (muh-noy) oil is what conditions the hair and it is in both the shampoo and conditioner. After I conditioned my hair I noticed that it was more manageable and stronger. Yes, stronger. My hair tangles a lot and I always experience a lot of breakage even after using detangling products. With the Monoi Conditioner just after one use I was able to detangle without breakage.
I definitely recommend this one!
