Award season is over, the royal nuptials have been made, but tonight is one of the most highly anticipated fashion events of the year. It’s the annual Costume Institute Gala also known as the Met Ball. This year’s gala will celebrate the life and work of celebrated designer Alexander McQueen. The theme of the event is Savage Beauty which reflects the fascinating and sometimes dark look at the brilliance of the man who took the fashion design world by storm.
