Diane von Furstenberg is a woman after my own heart. This fall she will launch a new fragrance, her namesake-Diane. I am eagerly anticipating this one. Diane von Furstenberg is known for classy, feminine, yet bold designs and I expect that her fragrance will deliver the same experience.
In a recent interview, von Furstenberg says “People forgot about the power of perfume and the magic of perfume.” I couldn’t agree more. Perfume is more than an afterthought, or a ritual morning spritz. Fragrance makes a statement. It seals the message that you’re sending out to the world. Some of the notes are: frangipani, patchouli, myrrh and musk.
I’m giving kudos on the bottle design already-subtle sophistication at its best. Somehow I get the feeling I’m going to want a solid fragrance for on-the-go, a candle and some note cards for this one (yes, stationary)! I think another fragrance party might be in order.
