For the past few weeks I’ve been experimenting with a new mascara. Larger Than Life Volumizing Mascara by NARS has become my go-to. As much as I love (and I do mean love) mascara, I’ve been loyal to a few brands that are absolutely fabulous, but NARS is quickly becoming a favorite. What I love about this is that it goes on so dense that I can skip eyeliner. That’s a time-saver which is always worth the investment.
It does indeed add volume and subtle drama. My lashes look so much thicker-just two coats is enough. It goes on dry. So I don’t have to be overly concerned with smudges and runs. Just a quick touch up and we’re done.
Wearing mascara is like wearing shoes. You need more than one pair for various occasions and activities. NARS’ Larger Than Life mascara gives me dense, thick lashes with a dramatic edge when I’m meeting with clients. I guess you could call it business glamour, but it transitions well into the evening for after work functions. It’s also available in a “lengthening” formula.
In the meantime I’m keeping my eyes open for a new lip gloss by Givenchy. Word has it that they have a clear gloss that, once applied, combines with your PH balance to creates a custom shade of pink. That is beauty innovation for you. I’ve got to get my hands on a tube of that.
