So I know I told you I was going to take you on my journey with me. As soon as the weather changes, my skin begins to get dryer to the point of some rough patches. There is nothing more awkard and embarrassing than shaking hands and being self-conscious about the texture of your hands. This fall and winter I wanted to be proactive about reducing this problem. So I started with Eucerin’s Intense Repair Extra-Enriched Hand Creme. I was amazed at just how soft my hands were. Which got me to thinking, “what will the Smoothing Repair Lotion do for my body?”
This has becomes my favorite moisturizer. After my shower I put on lotion right away to help seal in the moisture. What I love about this product is that the hydration it gives you isn’t a surface soft. It truly penetrates your skin.

Tips for keeping hands soft:
Dr. Ingleton suggested one of my favorite beauty tricks: sleeping in socks and gloves. When you do, your hands and feet feel so good. The key is to wear cotton socks and gloves. You can usually find cotton gloves at stores that specialize in bath products.
Make sure that you apply sunscreen to your hands. This product gently exfoliates your skin so, you want to make sure that you don’t make your hands vulnerable to sun spots or darkening and discoloration.
Also, don’t use water that is scolding hot. It will dry out your skin and make your hands susceptible to cracks and rough patches.
