Another American Idol Alumna (and winner, I might add) has been caught in the lens of Atlanta-based celebrity photographer, Derek Blanks. Fantasia looks absolutely fabulous wearing a sexy red gown or a ladies tuxedo. I have been a huge fan of Fantasia ever since America heard her first note on American Idol a few years ago. And her voice is every bit as incredible in a live performance. If you haven’t had the pleasure of hearing her vocals in person, you’ll have your chance this summer. Fantasia will return to the stage this month, reprising her role as Celie in The Color Purple at The Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. Don’t wait to get your tickets. I had the pleasure of seeing her performance on Broadway. It took all the strength I had not to yell out her name, but by the end of the show it was obvious that I wasn’t the only one who had to contain myself.
