I don’t usually do this here, but I just had to give shout outs to all my fellow authors that I met at the NJ SCBWI this weekend. It was my first time attending a chapter conference. I usually attend the NY conference. But I had a great time, learned a lot. Thanks to all for the encouragement offered. If anyone has attended the LA conference, please let me know.
I especially would like to thank Mr. E.B. Lewis for his advice. I’m still learning to let go and let my illustrator do his thing (whew)! If you are not familiar with E.B.Lewis, he is the talented illustrator of several children’s books, including I Love My Hair, The Bat Boy and His Violin and Circle Unbroken.
