How Do You Do It?

Unless you’ve been in a coma for the past 6 months you know that the economy is in trouble. People are losing jobs at alarming rates and their is a lot of uncertainty. This is definitely a rainy day. My question to you, Divas, is: How do you do it? In tough times how do you keep yourself (spirit, attitude, and look) together?

    You have to find a way to stay inspired and this takes a bit of effort. We may want to modify how many times we watch the dow drop in one day, once we have seen it why look at the same report 5 times. The inspiration can come from an article, movie or observing someone else’s positive attitude whatever that may be. Staying inspired is something we owe to ourselves and is a must in order to maintain a somewhat positive outlook. It is true that these are distressing economic times and it is true that there are job losses, but if you take a moment browse a few company website you will find that companies are hiring in spite of laying off. Regarding upkeep in appearance, one of the things that I have observed is the importance of making sure you maintain your hair, if nothing else, clothes can always be purchased at another time, now is the opportunity to get acquainted with some accessaries!

    My initial thoughts: it’s okay to not be okay. It’s okay to be afraid.
