Makeup is universal. Even with the avalanche of products that are available at home, I’m always wondering what beautifying gems are being worn by women in other countries-and ultimately how I can get my hands on some. Black Up Cosmetics is one such product. Founded in France, Black Up cosmetics is a luxury brand for women of color and is making quite a name stateside as well.
I just have to share this video, because there’s something about watching a makeup artist at work, seeing the transformation that gets me all giddy.
Over in London, there’s another brand of beauty brewing!
When I first saw Illamasqua cosmetics, a collage of words flashed in my mind. Daring, bold, eccentric, dangerous, fun. There’s just something freakishly-beautiful about the promo shots. I can’t wait to get my hands on some.
