Ice Pouch Chic, Ice Pouch ($7.99)

I know I’ve been M.I.A. for a minute.  But I have come down with a bad cold!  I haven’t seen mascara in days.  What’s worst is that I feel so miserable that makeup is the last thing on my mind.  I’ve been so out of it, I couldn’t even read my latest magazines.  It’s just been me, a glass of juice and my crumpled kleenex.  This pitiful scenario has got me thinking.   Is there a way to not look quite as miserable as you feel when you’re not feeling well? Makeup may not be the answer, but cute pajamas and a few “cold” accessories are the key.

One that comes to mind is the Ice Pouch.  No longer is it a non-descript rubber wad your grandparents used to have.  Thanks to companies like Ice Pouch and Gal Pal, you can soothe a headache or sore muscles in style.  I picked this one up at Marshall’s for just $7.99.  What I love about it is that it’s compact, has a screw top, and no leaks.  No more frozen green peas in a towel.  It also doubles as a hot water bottle.  There are also the fuzzy wuzzy teddy bears you can buy that do the same thing.  Personally, I can do without the fuzz.   There’s something about recuperating in style that makes you feel a little bit better.  Just a little bit.  Now, I just need to find a cute kleenex holder for my purse.
