Make Room

This week has been exciting to say the least.  I’ve had some Aha, ooh wee, oh boy, Oh yes and some “what ever” moments.  What I’ve learned traveling through time zones and cultures in this past week is that I need to make room.  I’m not talking about for more furniture or more clothes, but more room for new experiences.  New experiences don’t necessarily require a passport, but a willingness to step out of old worn out ways of thinking and doing things.  I’ve decided to clear away some of the clutter, hit the mute button on that little voice inside that keeps those old tapes on repeat, get rid of what is no longer useful or just plain played out.  Am I alone on this one?  Sometimes you have to be willing to let go of one thing to gain another.  When we stay on a merry-go-round to nowhere, we don’t get to enjoy new scenery, new people or new experiences.

By the way, my earlier post got stuck out in cyberland and didn’t find it’s way.  But where there’s a will, there’s wi-fi.
