So I received my January issue of Essence magazine this week. Being the magazine junkie that I am, I must admit that January issues of any magazine are my least favorite only because they tend to be a little thin. But this time Essence had me doing the happy dance. The Ageless Beauties feature that was once a yearly staple in their January issue has finally returned (oh, how I missed it).
This is what we need at the beginning (or any time for that matter) of the year—examples of women (everyday women) who take care of themselves inside and out. This gorgeous group of women dispel the popular myth that you must have a personal trainer, chef, CD, reality show, a million dollars or a baller boyfriend to look and live absolutely fabulous!
The ages of these ladies ranges from 42 to 94!
