My Blogalicious and A Window Seat, Please

My BlogaliciousI’ve been very busy behind the scenes and over the next few weeks, I’ll have some exciting news to share about my new ventures.  Today I’m giddy because I get to tell you about two of them.  Drum roll, please!  I am pleased to announce that I will join a talented cadre of bloggers in contributing to the My Blogalicious web site as one of their Beauty Editorialistas!

The three phenomenal women who created Blogalicious Weekend, have now created MyBlogalicious-a virtual community for a diverse group of bloggers.  The site will be a continuation of the meaningful conversations, positive vibes and all around fabulousness that characterizes the Blogalicious Weekend conferences.  My Blogalicious has something for everyone.  My fellow blog sisters will discuss everything from Yoga and style to organizational skills and technical savvy.  Don’t wait, check out My Blogalicious, now!  For more on Blogalicious Weekend ’09, click here.

One of the other things I love to do is travel.  So I’ll be contributing articles to Black Atlas.com on my excursions and weekend get aways.  Black Atlas is a great resource to learn about various domestic and international destinations and what they have to offer from every day travelers.  Travel expert, Nelson George, transports us to a host of cities via video updates, offering insight into black culture or history for many of the locales.  If you love to travel, or want to add travel information about your city, you can become a contributor as well. Check out, Black Atlas.com.

Meanwhile, don’t forget about this week’s giveaway, win a copy of Kiratiana’s Travel Guide to Black Paris: Get Lost and Get Found!  Just let me know why you’d love to travel to Paris. I’ll announce the winner next week.
